Dejero WayPoint

HEVC capable four-output receiver

Dejero WayPoint

WayPoint is an HEVC capable four-output receiver that reconstructs video transported over IP networks from Dejero transmitters and supports HEVC decodes to SDI or IP (MPEG-TS over IP) playout workflows.

Its 1U form-factor is designed to fit into the server racks in your facility and seamlessly integrate with your existing broadcast infrastructure. WayPoint has been engineered to be highly reliable and flexible—it’s equipped with dual-redundant power supplies and redundant storage RAID hard drives giving you the reliability you need.

Efficient

HEVC (H.265) ENCODING

Deliver higher quality video at lower bitrates; especially helpful in challenging cellular network conditions when bandwidth is limited.

Auto-Detection

CODEC AUTO-DETECTION

Compatible with any Dejero transmitter, WayPoint auto-detects whether the incoming transmission is HEVC (H.265) or AVC (H.264) and decodes accordingly.

Savings

SAVE RACK SPACE

Four outputs allow you to receive transmission from up to four different sources simultaneously—optimizing rack space in your facility.

Reliable

BUILT IN REDUNDANCY

Engineered for reliability, WayPoint uses industry-proven components including redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and RAID storage.
